6 Players Withdraw From Scotland Squad
May 29, 2008

Scotland have lost a 6th player for Friday’s friendly encounter with the Czech Republic, as Hib’s striker Steven Fletcher has been sent home for medical treatment.
The following players are now out of the squad:
- Steven Fletcher (Hibs)
- Kris Boyd (Rangers)
- Kevin Thomson (Rangers)
- Alan Hutton (Spurs)
- James McFadden (Birmingham)
- Steven Whittaker (Rangers)
David Clarkson has been called in as a late replacement, after an impressive season up front for Motherwell.
Scotland are now down to only 16 fit players in the squad for this game, which will be a huge dissapointment to new manager George Burley.
