Gareth Barry punished for giving interview

Gareth Barry’s criticizing interview against Villa manager Martin O’Neill to the Sunday newspaper made him punish.
Villa report for pre-season on Thursday as the transfer row took another twist.
Villa have turned down a continuous offers from Liverpool, and O’Neill denied that he had received any “take it or leave it” final bid on Wednesda y and hence the situation remains the same.
O’Neill has said Barry to be joining Liverpool upon his request being met.
